The gardens · Our long-term vision
Growing more than plants.
An evolving edible garden, nursery, and breeding program rooted in the Carolinas.
We’re starting with an extensive fig collection, including rare varieties and seedlings grown in pursuit of new Bethel Grove cultivars. Over time, we envision winding paths through fig orchards, berry gardens, native Carolina edibles, and experimental growing areas.

A place to discover edible landscapes
Our hope is for visitors to explore the gardens, taste fruit, discover new varieties, shop the nursery, and take part in seasonal festivals, tastings, workshops, and family events. Pick-your-own fruit is part of that vision, too.
Room to gather
One day, we hope the heart of the garden includes a coffee shop and bakery, serving seasonal treats inspired by fruit grown just steps away.
Our goal is simple: create a place where people can experience where their food comes from and discover what could grow next.
