Description
Bodhissattva is part of Bethel Grove’s male fig breeding collection. As a caprifig, its primary purpose is not conventional fruit production but pollen, genetics and controlled crossing. We maintain material like Bodhissattva to broaden the range of traits available for future seedlings and to support a long-term program aimed at developing original Bethel Grove varieties. This listing is intended primarily for experienced collectors and breeders who understand caprifig biology. In areas without the fig wasp, pollen may still be collected and used manually when viable male flowers are present. This listing is for one labeled fig cutting intended for propagation. Cutting size, diameter and node count will vary naturally by season and available mother wood. Rooting success is not guaranteed because propagation results depend on temperature, moisture, medium and grower technique.
